What are the benefits of E-Design?

It's more affordable compared to in-person interior design services, being that you are not paying for additional costs such as project management or travelling fees. As you implement the design yourself, you have the luxury of working to your own schedule, making changes when you're ready, rather than within a projects timescale. If you have purchased a shopping list though, we do ask you to keep in mind that stock availability constantly changes, therefore, we advise you to purchase items sooner rather than later.

 

Additionally, and in cases such as ours, the client and designer do not have to live in the same country to be able to work together. As E-Design is an online design service, there is the option of choosing an interior designer in a different part of the world to you. Please check the locations we currently offer our services to on our Prices page.

How is payment made?

Payments are to be made by debit or credit card, via bank transfer. Details will be given upon booking. The payment process for each service is explained on the service pages and will be stated in your electronic contract too.

Is my deposit refundable?

All bookings must be secured with a deposit. Your deposit is refundable if we receive written cancellation via email, at least 14 days before your booked project date. Unfortunately, if we are given less notice than this, your deposit will not be eligible for a refund.

What is the timescale for completion?

With regards to our Personal Shopper service, completion time relies on the amount of items required. A timescale will be given after details have been discussed. As for our E-Designs, once mood boards have been approved and your first payment has been received, your new room design will be ready in approximately 21 days.

Can I make amendments to my chosen service?

Absolutely! With regards to our E-Design service, small amendments can be requested on both packages. 1 mood board revision is included in both packages. Additionally, 1 design revision is included in our Standard package and 2 design revisions are included in our Premium package (per room). 

Do you provide project management with your services?

If you have purchased our E-Design Premium package, we are more than happy to initially outline what work needs to be carried out with any tradesmen you may have hired, for an additional fee. However, all communication and dealings thereafter, must solely remain between yourself and them, as unfortunately we do not provide project management for online services.

Nonetheless, if we have recommended a company to work with to create a bespoke piece of furniture from your design, we are happy to manage this service for you if needed, for an additional fee.
